Hi, I'm Aarav.Welcome to my world.
This is where I keep a record of experiences, achievements, and the small notes worth remembering in between.
About
Finance by major, a little bit of everything else by choice.
Hi, I'm Aarav. I'm 18, from Ahmedabad, India, and usually the quiet one in the room.
I'm also a finance sophomore at Miami University, chasing a career in investment banking, but this site isn't really about that. It sits in the grey area between my academics and my career, the stuff that isn't on a resume but is still very much me. Everything you'll find here is something I could do forever, whether or not it ever pays the bills.
I've played tennis for as long as I can remember, and somewhere along the way it turned into a habit of picking up almost any racket sport. Travel pulls at me the same way. I've been to about 15% of the world so far, and I'm always thinking about where I'm going next. I try to actually live in a place rather than just pass through it.
I have a strong opinion most people don't ask for: medievalism over minimalism, every time. There's a warmth in old-world detail that clean, empty spaces don't have for me. Maybe that's why The Da Vinci Code is still my favorite book, mystery, history, and a bit of chaos, all in one story.
When I want to disconnect completely, I go deep sea diving, although that isn't exactly ideal. There's nothing quite like being somewhere so quiet that even I don't feel like the quietest thing in the room.
This site is where I keep everything that matters to me: my blog, where I write about whatever's on my mind, the experiences and achievements I've picked up along the way, a photo gallery from my travels, and the projects I've been building. Have a look around, and thanks for stopping by.
